New Moon in Cancer ~ 5 days ago
On July 14th the New Moon in Cancer offered us an emotional reset. Family issues were in the forefront as many of us sought closer connection with family and others close to us.

Cancer is a water sign associated with emotional sensitivity, intuition, and nurturing. When the Moon joined the Sun on the 14th it brought a desire for deeper connection.
And as always, there were some challenges that are still in play today. When the Moon (emotions) Sun (vitality) and Mercury (communication) got together in the emotional sign of Cancer ~ a square to Saturn may have potentially shut us down, making it difficult to express our feelings and needs to others.

Now a week later, some of those tensions are still in play: with the Moon in Libra sitting opposite Saturn on the other side of the sky in Aries, stirring up those same issues around feeling worthy of love.
Families are often the source of our wounding, and also our healing:
Can’t live with em~ can’t live without em!!
Summer is the time of year for family visits and get-togethers and with the Sun still in Cancer many are wanting to connect and feel close to their people. One good thing Saturn does is get us to slow down, pay attention and take things step-by-step. If there are issues arising it provides us with the forbearance and persistence to get through the hard stuff. It’s all about self worth and the need to feel safe and cared for.
Stern and serious Saturn has trouble giving and receiving love, so this is an important time to nurture your inner life ~ which will help balance and heal family issues.
We can reconnect with our feelings by healing past wounds, and supporting our deepest intentions for emotional well-being. Emotional intelligence is rooted in first knowing and caring for our own inner self, which strengthens the bonds with others by creating a nurturing environment.

And if shit comes up, learn to flush!
Let it go. Let it go. Let it go!
“One thing can lead to another, It doesn't take any sacrifice. Oh, father and mother, and sister and brother, if it feels nice, don't think twice…
Shower the people you love with love, Show them the way you feel. Things are gonna be much better if you only will…” 🎶
(James Taylor)
I hope you’re having a good summer. Take good care of yourself. Let gratitude be your guide.
