New Moon - New Moments - New ideas - New Choices
Sunday's New Moon energy is still ripppling out. Apparently for 72 hours we can still harnessing the energetic reset (so there is still in time to set intentions). In this nergy of reset and renew, choices are being made, intentions being se, words being exchanged and new ideas are being born.
Gemini is the sign of the mind, the details, the variety of life and activates a need for changes and spontaneity. Gemini shows how we learn and what we learn. Don't just regurgitate the things you hear ~ be wise and question everything. You know you want to! This Gemini New Moon brings in new information to help us rewrite the stories we tell ourselves. A New Moon is a reset point ~ and with Saturn’s influence in the background , it offers a chance to reflect and rethink those stories. Which ones to keep for posterity, and which ones to jettison? What is the next chapter? 
Uranus in Gemini opens the door for expanded awareness as it awakens the higher mind. I’ve been listening to Dr. David Clements ~ a former theoretical physicist who has gone a bit woo. He discovered remote veiwing within the scientific community (used in police work, CIA etc) and in that process stepped into hiw own expanded reality. Here's a link to one of his conversations. That is very aligned to what the current astrology is inviting us to do, ie step outside the preconditioned ideas we have been fed all our life.
In the podcast Clements says he is being told by his 'team; that we cannot quantify ‘unlimitedness’ or the ‘infinite’ ~ because as soon as we do, we slip into the mind ~ that by its nature defines and dissects (that is its function ) ... and whenever you are locked into a mental structure, you can no longer link to the infinite. This is the current state of human beings... limited perception ~ that Uranus is going to change.We
have been trained in a totally materialst world view that says this 3D
world is all that we are. Uranus lifts us up to the higher
mind ~ sometimes by shocking events that shake up our 'reality'. This broadens our perception by bringing in new information.
Time for an upgrade.
Gemini and its ruler Mercury represent the mind, and Uranus the higher mind.
So how do we understand what is beyond our minds capacity to understand? We can feel it. The heart links us to this higher energy. “It is a state of being ~ not something you can quantify.” (Clements) This is nothing new, though I appreciate how he bridges the gap between science and spirituality (although he doesn’t use that word). He is obviously tapping into the wisdom of the ages and apparently is being taught to him via non-physical beings. I keep hearing that this will be a year for open contact- could get interesting. I know that is too outside the box for some - yet I'd say just watch and listen and be prepared to be surprsied. The main point I took from Clements is that we are beingup graded by forces that are perhaps neyond our understanding and our dna is shifting to accomadate the new template. I also heard a talk the other night about 3 i Atlas (asteroid zooming through the milky way galazy) and how it is an anomoly - not behaving according to known science - and that is stretching known concepts. Some say it is a messenger who travels the galaxies activating new information, and in our case, it is apparently dong so via contact with the planets (Venus, Mars and Jupiter) - with the key focus on the Sun- as it apparently triggers solar flares that then bring the new frequencies into our stratosphere. And yes this is all newinfo (to me at least). I guess we will have to wait and see. Its just another marker that says we are a time of powerful awakening.
Meanwhile, this New Moon in Gemini (the thinker) invites us to rethink something - let new information in that may be slightly outside our comfort zone (like this blog post lol). New moment, new choice. That could be on an every day level - shifting some habit or pattern of thinking. Or with Uranus exactly squared the Collective Destiny Points, it may point to a global awakening. I personally am excited to learn that there are forces at work to elevate our cosnciousness and am interested to see how that may play out. In the meantime, note your patterns of thinking including any cognative bias or self imposed limitation (Saturn /Mercury) and question your judgements ~ of self and other.... these are the things that stop us from learning more. Dont be gullable, yet try to open up to new possibilities. Our gut insticts are key to knowing what is true and what is false. To step ibnto the unknown we must have some degree of trust in the universe. Jupiter (expansion, joy) just met up with Venus (love, money) showering us with feelings of abundance and joy. In the background, Mars/Pluto has been edgy, bordering on violent, and Saturn/Mercury full of doubts and criticism. There are always positive and negative forces at work- that is all part of the duality of this world. Yet we get to choose where we focus and how we respond to whats going on around us. This is about knowing that we do have a choice. Change is afoot and if we are centred and aligned with our soverign selves, we will respond from a place of trust rather than doubt and fear. Take a moment to pause, deep breath, and set your sail for new horizons. You know you want to!
