Pluto - god of the Underworld

Pluto (god of the underworld) in Aquarius (society, tech, groups) brings intense power dynamics to society. Every planet and sign has positive and negative manifestations of its energy or its archetype; the good and the not-so -good.   Pluto represents our evolutionary journey - Pluto (power) Aquarius (people) means Power OVER the people ~ or ... Power TO the people ~ meaning we will be evolving from the first to the other, from destructive to regenerative. Pluto transforms, and in this case will be transforming society.

"We" Over "Me": The era is predicted to shift humanity toward collaboration, humanity-wide connectivity, and "group consciousness" rather than isolation.

"The Age of Aquarius is an astrological era believed to bring a new age of enlightenment, technological advancement, and community-focused consciousness, shifting humanity from individualistic (Piscean) values to collective unity. Associated with the 1960s counterculture and the 1967 musical Hair, it is characterized by social change, peace, and increased spiritual awareness, often featuring themes of technology and globalization.

Some suggest it marks the toppling of tyrannical, restrictive, or outdated structures and the rise of human rights"  (online source)

The last time Pluto was in Aquarius (1778-1798), we had the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Haitian Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, and the ending of the Age of Enlightenment. Pluto's cycle strips down/destroys ~ to way for the new forms to come.

Pluto is the god of destruction, death and rebirth. It transforms us by forcing us to face our shadow (hidden aspects we dont want to look at) and takes things to extremes to push us onto our proper evolutionary path.

" I hate to say it, but Pluto doesn’t take a neutral or “middle ground” approach to things. When it comes to your own life, you should look at which house in your chart is occupied by the sign of Aquarius. This house/area of your life will experience changes and transformations for the next 20 years. I think this transit is going to bring calls for “power to the people” but not without pushback, crackdowns, and displays of fear from governments or institutions.

We will see huge innovations with technology, as there will also be efforts by some to control the use of the technology itself, but to also control and manipulate people with it.

Overall, I believe this is going to be a time when people will have to band together, form broad coalitions, and reshape the control and power dynamics of the social order. We are going to come up with creative solutions to inequality and decentralize power from “leaders” and political parties." (from reddit thread).

There are powerful changes in technology (AI) that are going to have an enormous effect on our world. I am not a techy so cannot say much on this. What I do feel is that we can use it or be used by it. Time will tell.

The Age of Pisces (last 2,000 years) was focused on religion, emotion, and self-sacrifice/matrydom (Christianity) whereas the Age of Aquarius is associated with community, technology and intellectual growth.

Some suggest that the transition from the Piscian age to Aquarius began in the last 50 years and that we are currently living in this in-between phase.  Some believe 2020/2021 marked the official shift. Others cite 2012, while some argue the shift won't formally arrive for another 200 yrs" Yet many believe Pluto moving into Aqaurius will usher in the Aquarian age ~ representing  cataclysmic events that cause irreversable shifts in societal trends.

Right now sure  feels like the in-between. The old is dissolving (Neptune/Saturn in Pisces) and the new is arriving (Saturn/Neptune in Aries). 2026 is considered a critical midpoint in this powerful global shift. Saturn (matter) and Neptune (spirit) arrived on the World Point (zero point Aries)  on the cusp of the Spring Equinox this year. Aries signifies new beginning and fresh starts. This conjunction on this powerful point has apparently not occurred for 6000 years.

"Scientists have found an abrupt change about 6,000 years ago in how terrestrial plant and animal species coexisted, right about the time human populations were ballooning and agriculture was spreading around the world.Egyptian farmers in the Neolithic period 5,000-6,000 years ago. The findings suggest that human activity had reached a tipping point where hunting and farming were impacting the natural world in irreversible ways — changes that have continued to increase to this day." https://news.berkeley.edu/2015/12/16/humans-began-altering-natural-world-6000-years-ago

So basically to beginning of agriculture - which led to formation of civilzation as we know it. No biggie.

Meanwhile, back in the here and now ~ Pluto is transforming Aquarius  ~ and we are about to find out how.  If we use it to transform ourself ~ we will be better equipped to deal with how it is transformong the world. "

As within ~ so without"

"As within- so wothout is an ancient Hermetic axiom stating that your external world is a reflection of your inner world, including thoughts, emotions, and beliefs. It implies that changing your internal state—thoughts and attitudes—will manifest corresponding changes in your life's circumstances, experiences, and relationships."
