Good vibes predominate with today's Full Moon in Sagittarius early this morning on Wed June 11. A heads up - there will be some challenges. The Full Moon will have occurred by the time you read this - In fact it is exact right now, but the effects will ripple out for a long time (weeks/ even months) First, decisions need to be made and our direction
chosen.
Our choices will require discernment and discretion; there is such
an expansive feeling in the air it can be easy to get swept away with
new ideas and projects and forget to pay attention to the fine print. This Full Moon offers a reset button, with powerful energy that will blast us forward at mach speed, and increased momentum and enthusiasm amplifying the energy for change. Yet tension with Saturn (lessons, karma) suggests it may be two steps forward one step back, with some serious karmic lessons included in our choice of direction. You know all those possibilities that came with the New Moon in Gemini
two weeks ago? Decisions must now be made and a clear direction
chosen - with the karmic results (cause and effect) rippling put for years to come.
This Sagittarius Full Moon marks a majour turning point - we just have to figure
out where we are turning to. With so many distinct energies at play I don't
know if I can write it all in one go. There
is expansion, and there is contraction. There are endings and there
are new beginnings. The is confusion and there will be profound moments of clarity and truth. Emotional honesty is critical right now, yet the instinct to avoid is equally strong.
Jupiter, the planet that rules Sagittarius, has just moved into the sign of Cancer, the
sign that rules the home, the family, and our need to nurture and be nurtured. This adds extra emotion to
whatever shifts are going on, and it is possible that many of these changes will be
occurring within the home or the family.
Jupiter/Venus brings abundance, with Saturn/Neptune adding the urge to manifest your dreams. Jupiter in Cancer offers
joyful, life-affirming, emotional nourishment through family
events, emotional changes, and focus our need to nurture and be nurtured. With Jupiter being the
biggest planet in the zodiac - we need to think big ~ stop shrinking
to fit limiting circumstances. Change is afoot. Decisions will be made.
Be careful: Mars/Uranus can bring sudden upsets/accidents. jarring events. I told you it was a mixed bag!
One tricky thing is that Neptune (spirit) in Aries (new beginnings) is squaring Mercury, planet of
communication, adding more potential for chaos and confusion. Squares force us to take action - and also reveal the weakness inherent in our plans. Watch out
for dodgy deals and unlikely offers - be careful of those who would
take advantage of your genuine excitement and idealism. In other words, buyer beware.
I've heard it suggested that majour decisions might best wait for a few
weeks until the Mercury/Neptune fuzziness dissipates. Sounds like good advice, although sometimes that's just not a happening thing if we are very eager to plan for our future. Which this Full Moon says we are.
Full Moon's bring to a head the seeds /intentions that we
planted at the most recent New Moon (two weeks ago), and that's a tide that
can't be stopped. Whatever has been incubating is naturally coming to fruition at this time. What plans are you hatching? (haha i know I am mixing metaphors. Oh well - lets do some more) What adventure are you embarking on? Putting the breaks on all that may not be an option (although Saturn will try). With the links to the Moons nodes (points of fate) some kind of karmic breakthrough is immanent. These points show
where we are heading and where we have come from, with squares creating tensions that force resolution. Planets at right angles to the Moon's nodes indicate 'skipped
steps' ie lessons that have been ignored or put off that now need to be faced
and integrated before we can truly move forward. This is a critical moment because of this.
Relationships and financial matters are also under immense pressure with Pluto
square Venus. Endings and new beginnings are occurring and long overdue decisions must be made to shift our
direction to align with our new future. We are being asked to change our patterns - especially if we have been feeling stuck. Yet Neptune is by nature an avoider who will obfuscate and blur our thinking and confuse our communication. Is this a runaway train with no one at the helm?
"Driving that train, high on cocaine,
Casey Jones you better watch your speed.
Trouble ahead, trouble behind
And you know that notion just crossed my mind"

So hang on for the ride! The higher nature of Neptune is about surrender and trust in the universe. Have faith that all will be well. That doesn't mean we don't act - but if things are not clear - ask for guidance. And don't worry, its not all so dire. Sagittarius is a sign of optimism and good luck and supportive elements like Mercury and Venus are forming a smooth,
flowing connection which can help us adapt and work around any challenges
that do pop up.
"Mercury
rules how you think, speak, plan, and express yourself, and Venus
brings in love, money, pleasure, and values. When these two blend
energies, your words come through
clearly, your timing improves, conversations go more smoothly, and
people are more open to what you say." TimePassages
Sagittarians never give up. Ride that train - keep your heart open - and keep your eyes focused on the
track ahead. We will get there in the end (wherever there is).
PS: I'm
reading 'The Agony and the Ecstasy' about Michelangelo... he had to
deal with and overcome constant ongoing challenges. I had no idea. Wars, politics,
religious infighting, artistic jealousies, health challenges, family demands, power dynamics, crazy Popes, constant lack of money etc etc. Aiyaiyai!
Yet look what he created!
Its all an unfolding process. Patience grasshopper; all will come right in the end. Just keep holding the tension and dancing the dance and enjoy this magnificent moment of possibility. The Strawberry Full Moon encourages us to stop and smell the flowers (and eat the strawberries) Step back and look at our life from a wider lens; see the bigger picture ~ and then ~ go for it. Don't stay stuck where you are... don't settle for less. Sagittarius
is pulling his bow and taking aim. Half horse/half man - the archer- the seeker- the grand adventurer. Trust your instincts. Aim high, focus clearly and shoot that arrow at the Moon!
You know you want to :)
Keep your sense of humour, send me some good jokes.
"Why are elevator jokes so good?
Because they work on so many levels (hehe)
