Spring has sprung! Birthing a new you!

Happy Spring! A time of New Beginnings.

As nature awakens from her slumber, so we too are being shaken awake. 

As we pause at the doorway of the Eclipse Portal ~ we are facing a time of big shifts and changes.

A partial Lunar Eclipse occurs this Monday March 25th ~ on the south node Destiny Point in Libra. This is considered a fated release point ~ with Libra signifying relationships. Eclipses mark endings and new beginnings, so there may be something leaving your life, accompanied by a certain amount of chaos or confusion as the old makes way for the new. If you have been feeling a bit lost and dreamy, or content floating in Piscean waters, the Sun in Aries is gradually  dissipating the fog, with the coming eclipses completing the job.

This is a time of karmic lessons, limitations, and facing reality vs dreams and illusions, with the ruler of the eclipse Venus (love) with Saturn in Pisces telling us its time to get real ie time to either step up to the plate. We are being nudged to let go of our cherished illusions and walk away from what is not working. Venus in Pisces is extremely idealistic and romantic, yet Saturn beside her insists we come back to earth and focus on boundaries, commitment and taking responsibility for what we are creating in our life. The key message: You are not a victim; and there is work to be done. 

 

Because this first eclipse is on the south node release point, it says we can no longer do the same old things in the same old way.

Do not despair. When one door closes, another one opens.

 

In two weeks, the Total Solar Eclipse (New Moon) in Aries occurs on April 8th  will open the door to  powerful new energy, including deep healing around  self-actualization and how we move into the world (Aries). This is about personal agency (ability to act) and moving away from co-dependence and our patterns of giving our power away to others (south node in Libra). Chiron on the eclipse suggests that the wounds to the self are rooted in our ancestral patterns and childhood traumas (hence the work). Who told you you weren't good enough?

 

This facing-of-self is the key.

 

Once we are out of the eclipse portal, a meetup of Jupiter (expansion, joy, good luck) and Uranus (sudden change, awakening) on April 21st brings great optimism and enthusiasm for fresh starts. There will be some sort of awakening at the end of all of this, a new way of being or a new way of seeing (or both). Time to welcome more joy into our lives!

This is also about healing the masculine- which is in us all. My next blog will be about that specifically; how the wounded masculine needs our attention; I've been making a lot of  SoulCollage© cards on this them. Our inner masculine (yang) and feminine  (yin) need to work together, rather than at cross purposes, if you know what I mean. If you don't, i will explore it in the next post :)

 

Meanwhile, the time between eclipses, called the eclipse portal,  can feel a bit topsy turvey  and disorienting ~ as we move through the veil of  claiming and releasing, remebering and forgetting. This is a time of self evaluation and healing ~ as we are called to step and be our best selves. 

 

Look in the mirror. Who do you see?
