New Moon ~ New moment! ~ New choice!

 

This has been an easy going week relative to the past year! On Tuesday the Moon joined with the Sun in Sagittarius for a New Moon, and just 5 minutes later, Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, shifted from retrograde to direct. This bodes well for the intentions we set  ~ our positive vibrations will ripple forward for weeks to come. Jupiter and Sagittarius, the sign it rules, contain positive symbols of growth, expansion, abundance and joy.

 

  

During its recent retrograde period, Jupiter slipped back into the final degrees of Pisces, activating our imaginations and stirring our dreams. Now, as it moves direct, its possible that we can make those dreams come true. Jupiter and Neptune are both 'rulers' of Pisces, Jupiter the traditional and Neptune the new, so while the tension between old and new(Saturn and Uranus) continue to battle it out, this reunion brings a much needed breath of fresh air and carries forward the possibility of more peace and unity.

 

The Sagittarius New Moon calls us to seek step outside our petty complaints to seek a life that's larger and more full of meaning. Enough of the small stuff~ Sagittarius is about the spiritual seeker~ the hero’s journey ~ the grand adventure we call life!

 

 With Jupiter in an easy flow with Mercury and Venus - and now the the Sun -  in the adventurous and exuberant sign of Sagittarius, we should be feeling more positive than we have in a long while.

 

Of course, as always, there are still some stressful factors out there. The diminishing Saturn square Uranus continues its push/pull and Mars square Neptune stuff can cause some anxiety. You might feel the strong need to get something accomplished (Mars) , yet it seems like everything you do gets sidetracked (Neptune). Mars likes to act and Neptune doesn't lol.  Feels like Mercury retrograde… And because Mars is in Gemini(society/ communication/information) we can expect  the strange distortions to continue in terms of news/media/what we are told vs what is true. Buyer beware!

 

Yet overall, there's a feeling of hope in the air. After the Moon joined the Sun for the sacred union of the New Moon in Sagittarius, it then met up with Venus (love) and after that, Mercury (communication).

These are very positive, lighthearted energy that can help lift us up out of the heaviness of recent  months. In these strange times we need to find our joy where we can.

 

And ~ lucky for us ~ turns out joy lives inside of us. Once we tap into that ~ we can start to see and feel it everywhere! Embrace the magic. Blessed Be!
