Today, Saturday Oct. 22, 2022, was a very special day from an Astrological viewpoint, as Sun/Venus have joined together in Libra, just as we begin several weeks of deeply transformational energy. How perfect, and timely, to have access to this new level of consciousness around loving and being loved, and ultimately around 'Being' Love, just before we go through the stripping down that eclipses in Scorpio can bring.
Today marks the first time the Sun and Venus have met up in the sign of Libra at the same exact degree (the conjunction will occur at the 29th degree) in 250 years. This occurs on the Venus Star Point - on the 29th degree - which is called a 'critical' degree, pointing to an accelerated shift/integration of Libra/Venus/Sun energy.
All of this week were being pulled into a powerful vortex of heart based energy ~ a chance to raise our vibration and open our hearts to a deeper experience of Venus energy (which is love). Just in time me thinks! I know this could all sound so cheesy, like some Hallmark card, but Pluto pushes us to dig deeper. How deep is your love...? A mirror is here for us to look into. The powerful influx of high frequency vibrations can trigger issues around self esteem, self love and self acceptance. Pluto (squared Sun Venus) adds intensity and even fear. What if I am not lovable? What if I don't deserve love? What if love leaves me or finds me wanting?
We are very vulnerable when we love, it is highly threatening to our internal defenses. I suspect that's why nature evolved many chemicals to entice us into love's embrace. When we soften to someone's touch and let it into our energy field, we risk everything.
Today's Venus Star Point event is here to let us know that we ARE worthy and that we Are Loved. This is beyond romantic love (although includes it) and even inter-personal love. It is what is at the very core of our existence; what makes life worth living.
So much to say - so little to say. I'm going to leave you with some images and quotes that have inspired me. I believe there is a universal force that transcends our pettiness, our personalities, our differences, our limitations, our judgements, our hatreds. There's been so much division in the world and so much fear. South Node in Scorpio is about our survival fears. Next Tuesday we have a Solar eclipse in Scorpio that can clear those fears away. South Node is the past. Time to let them go. Ha! Easier said than done? First - we have to face those fears head on. Know your enemy. Or perhaps that enemy is just a part of you! Look in the mirror. What do you see?
We also had a powerful alignment in the spring with Jupiter (expansion, joy) Sun (vitality, essence) and Venus (Love) in Pisces (spirit). That was a call to embrace Unity Consciousness ~ Source energy. Jupiter is now moving back into Pisces - bringing another wave of that universal energy. We need every bit of our focus to be on positive outcomes.
Today's message is:
Choose Peace. Let Love win!
You know you want to!

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” St Paul to Corinthians,
