What we Focus on Grows

Relationships continue to be at the forefront of change and revision (which literally means to re- vision something - to see it in a new way). Venus - planet of love-opposite Uranus - planet of sudden change and awakening - means we will continue to be surprised by unexpected arrivals and departures.

If sudden gains or losses have shaken your relationships or your finances - you  now have the opportunity to reinvent yourself - as Venus retraces her steps back through Libra and Scorpio. With Venus sitting exactly opposite Uranus (sudden change, insights, shifts in awareness) for the second time in a few months-  changes or surprises can still be expected. Yet we are no longer in Venus retrograde - so the focus is now on forward movement. What was lost can be regained - or re-visioned/re-invented.

When one door closes - another one opens.

Today's Moon in Libra heightens our feelings around personal relationships. Libra craves beauty, love, harmony, connection. Saturn, on the other hand, is lurking in the corner (Moon square Saturn) - trying to convince us we don't deserve the love and beauty we seek. Yet we really do - 'cause its already inside of us!

 Luckily - Sun /Jupiter together in Sagittarius continues to buoy our spirits and help us see the bigger picture. The more we experience and express our joy- the more we will attract it. Jupiter in Sagittarius brings out the adventurer in us- the part of us who wants to learn and grow and see the greater world.

Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

This part of us is seeking the true meaning of life. It says - don't sweat the small stuff.  That doesn't mean to avoid or deny our difficulties; just try to balance them with a bit of optimism. 

Is the cup half full or half empty?

Mercury's retrograde motion is now in the shadowy sign of Scorpio - the land of desire and taboos and all things secret or hidden - so we can't deny our shadow stuff,  even if we want to. But we can try to keep things in perspective. There's an element of wistful,  dreamy longing now (Jupiter /Neptune) that is easily disappointed when our fantasies don't pan out.

The Moon in Libra (balance and beauty) today will help us  even out extremes - by finding the middle way between grieving our losses and visioning new possibilities. New horizons beckon.

 Mercury turns direct next week - just before a New Moon in Sagittarius. New possibilities are seeded with every thought - every prayer - every intention. Remember- what you focus on grows!
