New Moon in Pisces - New Moment - New Choice
Today is a New Moon in Pisces. The sacred union of masculine (sun) and feminine (moon)- is a seed time- a creative impulse that moves us forward. This is when we set our intentions for the coming month. As we are at the very end of Pisces- and about to leap forward into Aries/Spring- our intentions will propel us into the new Astrological year. Aries is about initiative and action. It's get up and go go go.
But were not quite there yet. First we have some healing to do.
The Sun and Moon joined together with Chiron to create a profoundly transformative event. It may occur as a healing crisis - as whatever is wounded rises to the surface. Tension with Mars has recently been stirring up frustrations, aggravation, difficulty. Anger- impatience and our need to be right may have caused some interpersonal stresses. Water is about emotion - which can be sometimes overwhelming and uncomfortable.
It's possible to use the fluidity of Pisces to dive deep- overcome our impatience - tune into the divine joy inherent in Pisces energy. If you are fretting about something that you cannot control- time to let that shit go!
I've spoken of Chiron before - he was a centaur who taught and trained the greek warriors - Hercules- Achilles etc. He was accidentally wounded by a poison arrow - and as he searched for what would heal his wound - he developed powerful healing skills and methods.
Wherever Chiron is in our chart shows where we are extra vulnerable and where deep healing can occur. It's a bit like the squeaky wheel syndrome- it gets the grease - i.e. it is where we focus. People usually have healing gifts in the area of their Chiron. Those issues that niggle at us and never seem to resolve are the very areas that we grow and learn most, and through that growth can eventually help others to learn and grow. I find it kind of ironic that where we feel the most inadequate is where we can often be of service to others.
Let the healing waters wash everything clean.
In Pisces - the focus is on our core wound/illusion of separation from source. Sometimes in the thick of all the daily busy-ness- or the crazing stuff going on in the world, god- source- divine love (whatever you want to call it) - might seem a million miles away. Or non existent.
This New Moon calls us to feel - and heal - that core sadness and celebrate our perfect imperfectness. Thus may feel a little squirmy- as we hold the tension between our need to feel deeply and the equal urge to run away from pain.
Just Breathe into it . One breath at a time.
Pisces lessons are around trust, faith, humility, compassion. Surrender is a big one. Sometimes there are things that we just do not or cannot control. As the Sun shines a light onto our hidden most places, lets remember that we are all wounded or fragile in some area of our life. We are all trying. We are all human.
