Full Moon Healing continues
-->
Pisces offers spiritual healing- through meditation- art- music - or the blissful merging with another. Its about unity consciousness and connection to all that is.
The Moon- still in Virgo- is about emotional healing and purification. Strange and vaguely disturbing as this energy may feel - whatever is coming up is doing so because it is ready to be released. Have you ever done a cleanse? You often feel worse before you feel better. We need get rid of the toxicity in our lives - and in this case - loves . We all know love can be toxic. Ok - maybe its not love in its truest essence that is toxic. What we often call love is actually attachment, need, desire, or even delusional fantasy - the illusions that leads us down the garden path.
Venus in Pisces teaches us about unconditional love. Pure love. Love for love's sake. (like art for arts sake) . Soul love.
How are you liking this Full Moon energy?
I am finding it a little weird (as predicted) and sort of squirmy/ not so comfortable. Patience required! There've been moments of frustration - and moments of deep healing. Even the weather is strange. I'm snowed in - couldn't go pick up my son at the airport. Just one of those days. Surrender city!
Sun - Neptune is about just that - surrender. No ego agendas. Neptune, and the abundance of Pisces energy, is blurring everything and frustrating Virgo's need for organization and control. I organized some drawers today to give my Virgo side an outlet. Phew! I suppose writing this blog is a good combination of Pisces inspiration and Virgo analysis. Trying to find the middle is tricky. Mars doesn't want to let us just idle the day away - we must find ways to keep all the parts of us happy.
I wanted to bring your attention to the focus now on healing. Virgo
offers practical healing and purification through good health
practices, exercise, diet. It wants to serve in a grounded more left-brain manner. It will help us focus on what needs to be done.
It's important now to give yourself space in this time of healing. Venus is with Chiron- we are healing our hearts. Deep healing love (Venus Pisces). Wounded love (Chiron). Self love (Sun/Venus) . Sexual love (Mars) . Divine love (Neptune). All of it.
Temperance/Healing- Tarot SoulCollage(c) by RavenArt |
This is a SoulCollage (c) card I made for my own healing journey. Its message came to me in a dream. Emerald green is the colour of Archangel Raphael. The message was : Healing is possible.

Yet even small 'l' love is there to teach us. How will we know about big 'L' Love without trying its opposite? As we are witness to our own story, Virgo will help us discern the difference.
Venus in Pisces teaches us about unconditional love. Pure love. Love for love's sake. (like art for arts sake) . Soul love.
Babies seem to just BE Love. We were that once.
I'm getting into tricky territory here. Poets, philosophers, great thinkers and mystics of all ages have waxed lyrical in their pursuit and expression of the meaning of love. From Sappho to Shakespeare - Rumi to every modern day crooner- so much has been written - and sung- and danced about love. Leonard Cohen is one of my favourites - 'Dance me to the end of Love.' The Sisters of Mercy. Hallelujah. Love has inspired so much.
"There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken hallelujah"
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken hallelujah"
Leonard Cohen- Hallelujah
I'll leave all that to the poets and stick to the astrology.
Venus - planet of love- is essentially about an exchange of energy. That is why it also represents money, art, beauty. Venus in our chart indicates what we value and how we give
and receive love - with the emphasis on receiving.
Its
orbit creates a Pentangle - the Five Pointed Star-
representing a perfect harmonic (golden mean) seen in nature in so many forms. Check this out...
a
Venus stands for our feminine, receptive side (not female per se) - an aspect of who
we are on the inside. In Pisces it is altruistic (beyond self) love-
based on deep empathy and caring and connection to another's humanity. Venus in Pisces is unity consciousness and universal love.
With Venus in close contact with Chiron - the Wounded Healer - we are exploring our wounding around Love.
Chiron was a centaur that taught the heroes of Greek mythology. He was accidentally hit by a poison arrow during one
of their exercises- and suffering a wound that wouldn't t heal. In his efforts
to find a remedy for his wound- he became a great healer himself, and was able
to help many others.
Chiron
brings out our most vulnerable wounded self- with the intention of healing it. With Chiron- there is some form of suffering
- which can bring about transformation. We are healing and transforming our ability to love and be loved.
Past
wounds may resurface now as we work through the last threads of a very old
story. Disappointments- regrets- feelings of abandonment may all come to the
surface so we can begin to let go of that part of us that has never really felt
worthy of love. You know that part of you that pushes away people who get too close, or
always chooses the unavailable lover, or keeps moving on before someone lets you down? Yeah- that. The part of us that doesn't see
our own beauty, or who projects those qualities onto other- people - the
beautiful people.
Venus /Pisces longs for something - someone to merge into.
Wouldn't
it be amazing to discover that someone is us?! We are the ones we have been looking for!
This brings to mind meditation. Stillness. Mindfullness. Venus
in Pisces just wants to go home to its source. Its a heart longing to completely surrender- to let go to love in a way that redeems
us - that fills us – that makes us whole.
The wounding comes from giving ourself away.
What
if you discovered that you are already whole? What if the part of you that thinks you
are not - is just an old story that you were told a very long time ago – or one that
you told to yourself. This story is usually based in our childhood - Chiron deals with the family wounds that get passed on through generations. Many of
us spend our life trying to validate ourself through others, to make up
for these early messages - forgetting that they came from wounded people
who themselves didn't know how to love themselves.
Venus /Chiron in Pisces can take us through and beyond all that - to the core of our humanity, to our forgotten divinity, (hu- means divine- ) , to heal our (percieved) separation from source. Everything we do eventually comes down to this - even if we don't realize it.
All the tragic stories we carry originated here. Can we forgive ourself for forgetting who we are? Chiron Venus is here to heal both heart and soul.
Pisces more unconscious pattern is to escape - avoid- deny- preferring fantasy to reality. It can be uncomfortable - this focus on our suffering - on our wounding. Surely there's an easier way. Over
the next few days - watch what comes up. Let your pain be your doorway.
On Pain
Kahlil Gibran
Kahlil Gibran
Your pain is the breaking
of the shell that encloses your understanding.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain.
And could you keep your
heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem
less wondrous than your joy;
And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields.
And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.
Much of your pain is self-chosen.
It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.
Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquillity:
For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen,
And the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears.

At
its highest vibration- Pisces is the universe. It is unity- its is oneness. It is immense and all encompassing. We are never separated from all that is. It is in us and we are in it. No religion or a belief system required. It simply is.
All we have to do is let go....
You know you want to!
