New Moon in Sagittarius: Our Personal Best

 Here we are at another New Moon. It's been a complete moon cycle since my last post. My how times flies when you are having fun (or moving house)!

 Sunday we have a New Moon in  Sagittarius, sign of the archer; seeker of truth. He is shown as half man/half horse, shooting his arrow into the heavens.  Sagittarius  represents our high ideals and journey toward spiritual connection, and following our heart. The symbolism of half horse half man links body and soul, heaven and earth.  Human means divine man(or woman) Sagittarius is the teacher, the guru, the eternal student/ world traveller, ever on a quest, ever seeking the deeper meaning in life. Sagittarius contains the galactic core, center of our universe. 

Today, before it enters Sagittarius, the Moon is on the point of last months New Moon eclipse in Scorpio. That was a time of  releasing the old to make way for the new. The eclipse  activated survival issues, fear of loss etc for some, triggering a compensatory pull toward creature comforts. Taurus is about how we comfort ourselves... through sex or food or collection of money or beautiful things. It grounds us and soothes our weary soul with the arms of the great earth mother. 

Scorpio  sits opposite, ruling  sex, death and shared resources. Sometimes we have to risk stepping out of our comfort zone to move forward. The Scorpio eclipse impelled us  to let go a little (or a lot),  release our attachment to physical comfort and security. It asked us learn to share in new ways, to risk opening up to another, or made us face endings and the uncertainty of the future. 

 This 'Scorpionic' process (of letting go) can trigger apprehension, survival fears, even paranoia, and a resulting tendency to cling even harder to what is familiar. 

Yes,  'what you resist, persists!! '

That  eclipse energy (see last post), is still rippling through our energy fields, and being re-activated right now by several planets currently moving through Scorpio. This means any residual pain, fear of change etc,  and/or  personal crisis it triggers... continues to initiate us into a new level of personal  mastery (Saturn). 

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!! 

As the ruler of  ruler of Scorpio  is Pluto, this current Scorpio dynamic resonates with  the long running  Uranus-Pluto square that I have gone on and on about. This is the astrology that is influencing very nearly everything these days, ranging from global events to the most intimate affairs of your private life.

Francis describes Uranus and Pluto together  as a “mix of revolution and evolution.”

Their  joint effect is along ranging one, while also effecting our daily lives. If it is hitting your chart directly,  I assume everything is turned upside down and inside out. You have my commiserations!

Mercury and Saturn in Scorpio currently crossing the  North Node (destiny Point) is “so penetrating, so demanding of our attention, that it is not going to be easy to avoid, deny, suppress like we usually do.  There is help coming. A  reprieve is at hand.  Tomorrow (whew!)  the Moon joins the Sun in expansive, joyful Sagittarius, the sign of the cosmic adventurer. 

There is a  wave of Grace and Mercy (and healing) headingh our way as both the Sun and Moon in Sagittarius link to Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, the other more spiritual sign of the zodiac. 

The New Moon in Sagittarius says: Think big. Feel big. Be big!! ... not in a egoic or arrogant way ...  (tho this is highly possible with Sag energy) but more in a   'be the best you can be'  kind of way.

Sagittarius says: Be who you are. Be your highest self . Don't sweat the small stuff!

The Sun Moon alchemy creates a seed of redemption and grace (did I say that already) that will flourish and grown over the next month and  help us through these challenging times by putting us in touch with our higher self/ our true self.

This energy can move us beyond the limiting beliefs buried so deep in our psyche (Scorpio)  into a more free and expansive sense of self (sagittarius).

Scorpio's transformative power combines with Sagittarius to call us home..to ourselves. 

Sagittarius gives us the courage and boldness to be the change we want to see in the world.  It starts with getting in touch with source. (as within , so without)  It Once you find the deep peace that comes from knowing who you are at your very core, you can easily harmonize with  major paradigm shift we are in. 

Also, Jupiter and Lilith in Cancer are flowing into this New Moon energy, bringing along Venus, planet of love ( opposite Jupiter right now).  All these yin emotional energies will aid us in getting in touch with our feeling self.  Let yourself bathe in the soothing water!

Add FIRE (Sun Moon in sagittarius) and WATER (Jupiter in Cancer)and you get a rainbow: a wonderful creative expression of emotion and inspiration!   Let this be the start of a beautiful adventure to find the gold at the end of the rainbow. Let it shine!

New Moon in Sagittarius says: 'the time is right. It's never to late to begin. '

Whew!! All this talk about  Emotional Transformation and Renewal is making me hungry (back to those creature comforts!!)
