The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!

Chaos and confusion thwarts even the best laid plans right now as Neptune's influence blurs the landscape and muddies the waters! Talk about spinning our wheels! Nothing is what it seems.

Watch out for negative thinking.

If you are feeling exhausted or oppressed by this nonlinear energy, don't despair. It's just different to our usual logical way of functioning. But that's not going to work right now, so we may as well go with the flow.

Stop. Listen. Feel.  There is magic in the midst of madness. Listen to the quiet voice within. Pay attention to your dreams. Trust!

"There are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than you have dreamed of in your philosophy." (Hamlet)

Healing and resolution will come from opening your heart and following the path less taken.

You know you want to!

On Tuesday, the Full Moon in Sagittarius amplifies our joy!! ( to be cont'd)

Expect the unexpected! Love as a Transformational Force:

Today (Friday) Venus is opposite Pluto and squared to Uranus. This may be a turning point for some relationships

Venus is love and relating, Pluto is the transformer (via death, change, crisis), Uranus is the Awakener (via rebellion, new visions, the unexpected)

All together they symbolize love as a transformational force.

Our relationships will act as the mirror for what we need to face, own, release, leading to deep personal growth. That transformation will come for some through confrontations or sudden change or unexpected turns in the road. Our efforts to control everything might not get us the results we want. Trust is required.

If we try to force (Pluto) our love (Venus) it could trigger rebellion (Uranus).

‘Letting go’ becomes a radical form of committing to love.

DEEP SELF LOVE is the only antidote to global (and inter-personal) insanity. Moon in Cancer says Love the one you're with (i.e. YOU!)

Communication issues!

As the Moon moves into Leo over the weekend, emotions can get exaggerated. Leo is all about drama! This fire sign is also warm and generous to a fault but do not take a Leo for granted! Our best intentions to share our feelings can get complicated, due to the current Mercury  retrograde in Gemini.  Words can become misconstrued, twisted round and tied up in knots.  Leo pride gets in the way.

Neptune's blurring influence  increases the insanity. Misunderstandings and mix ups will force us to PAY ATTENTION!...  as we deal with  muddled communications,  lost emails, technical failures (Mercury rules technology) etc.  As the trickster planet turns everything topsy turvy,  a sense of humour is required, as we sort back through details with a fine tooth comb (without our glasses!!)

If you are tangled up in  in endless arguments about absolutely nothing!!!  with way too many words (like this post) or  silly details that have you going round and round in circles,   Saturn in Sagittarius says  stop slow down, look at the bigger picture.

If you  are clinging stubbornly right now to your point of view remember,  the straightest road is not the shortest.

Many of our core beliefs are  being challenged right now; (it's not supposed to be like this!);  which makes us  defensive,  and confused. This is when some will try to force things. Not a good idea. What a wonderful opportunity to reexamine how we communicate, and free ourselves from  old  assumptions and prejudices.  Its about time we let go of stuff we were taught a long time ago that isn’t really us.

Neptune squaring (blurring) the same planets that Saturn is blocking, adds to the sense of nothing moving forward in a straightforward linear manner.  While we are wandering around lost in the proverbial forest, time and space both move strangely and our thinking becomes defensive, distorted, delusional.   (I'm sure we passed that same tree an hour ago!!... no I'm sure this is the right way...)

Possibly not the best time make important decisions or  sign important documents, although I would trust your instincts. Not everyone experiences Mercury retrogrades in this way. Still, its not a bad idea to double check everything during this transit. A Mercury retrograde is a time to reflect and review. Saturn sitting opposite the Sun and Mars encourages us to take our time and go slow.  Patience will be required as we take two steps forward one step back.

This is an opportunity to broaden our horizons and develop our ‘spidey sense’.  Time to surrender our egos and get in touch with that inner voice that knows another route not on the city map.

Oops not that one!!

Everyone makes mistakes. We musn't  let self doubt (Saturn) undermine our innate sense of self worth (Sun) just cause things are not going as planned.

Remember who you are and it will all turnout well in the end. How do I know?  Jupiter in Leo shines brightly, reminding us that we are all magnificent

And Uranus trine Jupiter is currently buffing that shine to an effervescent glow, and  promising us some unusual surprises.   This combo spells Great Good Fortune.

So pay very close attention to everything. (i.e. be PRESENT!) while letting many things pass.  Keep your head held high, your heart open and your intuition tuned to the highest frequency.

 And expect the unexpected!

New Moon in Taurus: There's no place like home!

New Moon in Taurus Sunday May 17th at 9 pm EDT, and Monday 4 am  May 18th GMT).

We are now in the 'Dark of the Moon' as we wait for the New Moon energy to begin tomorrow.
This is an introverted time where our dreams and unconscious wishes, as well as fears,  come to the surface. Pay attention to them now to get in touch with messages from your deep and mysterious self.  Much can be revealed.

There's some very spacey energy about and hopefully the Moon in Taurus will help ground us a bit.
A New Moon in Taurus wants us to build something concrete out of our dreams and visions.  It needs to feel safe and secure, which starts  with honouring and connecting the ground we walk on and the bodies we inhabit.   How we nurture and take care of both our bodies and our environment reflect our inner values. 'As within so without. '

We are far more powerful than we realize. At this New Moon  seed time, our intentions  set the emotional pattern for the coming month, so be clear on what you really want, cause
'what you focus on grows!'

"This is a celebration of renewal and reinvention, a time to put down the past and to pick up a happier plan for the future. A time for letting go and moving on." Jonathan Cainer

As Taurus gets us to get in touch with what is important our lives, relationships come to the fore.  At this joining of masculine (Sun) and feminine (Moon) energies, we we will need to be careful of  knee jerk emotional reactivity; Mars proximity adds impatience, aggression and spark  to both our relationships and our endeavours.  It is possible that we are putting too much pressure on each other due to not meeting our own inner needs (what feeds us),  resulting in a push pull between the need to have space vs our need to work things out.   Compromise is the only way to move forward, and laying blame will get us nowhere.

Warning: Murphy's law is in full force at this New Moon. If anything could go wrong it will!!
But then again, it could just go right.

Taurus says 'slow down and smell the flowers'. It is about being grounded in the world we live in and appreciating the beauty in and all around us, about celebrating life as we develop a deeper sense of safety and security.  Thats not always so easy in this crazy world. Its easy to  get distracted now by Mars in Gemini who is busy with so many ideas and plans. Saturn's presence will slow things down and  force us to to stay grounded. This may come  via  complications, blockages and slow downs, and doubts may creep in as to whether we are on the right path.   Saturn in Sagittarius will help us (force us?) to step back to see the big picture, countering Mars in Gemini tendency to worry and to get caught up in  the details.

Mercury also has a strong influence on this New Moon.  As the planet of communication slows down to turn retrograde on Monday, it triggers what is called the 'Mercury Storm' .

The resulting chaos is then amplified by Neptune, the planet of illusion,  meaning what we thought was going to happen is not what is going to happen. On top of that, Neptune’s square to Mars  will add further chaos and  confusion. Luckily, end even though we may resent it, Saturn’s tendency right now to slow down our actions, thoughts and impulses will help  avert mistakes by getting us to  pay attention.

"Patience, forbearance and perseverance will go a lot farther and be more successful than angry, willful, words and actions." Tom Leshcer, Pele Report

Taurus encourages us to develop some stability, and gets us to solidify our efforts and concretize our plans. Yet these other factors adding to the 'Grand Irrationality' could delay the best of plans. Don’t be dismayed at strange turns of events. There is syncronicity even in the midst of madness.  Jupiter and Uranus bring us surprises and good luck just when we think our luck has run out.

If you cannot see an end in sight,  just go very, very slow, step by step, listen closely to your intuition (but not your paranoia) and carefully take this time to review and renew whatever we are working on right now.

Here’s an  example: my son and his family decided to move and at the first eclipse a few months ago, in my sons sign of Pisces, they found and bought a new house fairly quickly. Then on the following new moon, he  put his current house up for sale. Then the market took a down turn and they got a bit nervous.  But amazingly, they solf the house at the next eclipse (endings beginnings) and moved into the new place on the last Full Moon (fruition, completion). Fast and furious and it all worked somehow. How’s that for being in tune with the cosmos?!

Except there were things about the last Full Moon that indicated there would be still things to complete for a while to come. They are now settling into the new house yet are still adjusting to the rapid change (two adults two kids and a dog!) And it turns out a lot of stuff was packed away till the yard got finished. Which it is not… yet. So...  dogs and kids cannot go outside yet. And the last thing to go into the garage was the lawn furniture etc so they cannot access anything else.

So…  they have the basics, but are sort of in a state of waiting for it all to settle down. And that’s pretty accurate description of the recent astro effects on us all.

Big changes that came fast and furious  are now somewhat complete, yet still a sort o waiting.  Lots has been let go of, lots has been cleared away,  and still waiting for the penny to drop. No biggie! It will just take some patience and a bit of work to sort through it all… that’s what a Mercury retrograde is good for.  Mercury ‘s backward motion gives us all a chance to sort, sift, review.

Go slow, go steady and enjoy the ride!!

One last thing:

The North Node (Destiny Point)  in Libra links to the New Moon as well as  Neptune (soul) and Venus (Love).  Sun Moon in Taurus means the homing instinct is strong now, yet sometimes we don't always know where home is.

As we align with our highest, truest self we will be guided. We’ve come this far,  and although the road may be winding, it will get us there in the end (wherever 'there' is!).
Maybe its been right here all along!

Just click your heels... and say after me:

 There's no place like home!
There's no place like home!
There's no place like home!

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Scorpio Full Moon. Going deep.

Tonight is the Scorpio Full Moon (11:45 EST, 3:45 GMT May 4th) It is also Beltane as well as the Wessak festival Moon.

At Beltane we celebrate the meeting of feminine (Moon) and masculine (Sun) energies in this midpoint between the Spring equinox and the Summer Solstice. That meeting is said to fertilize the earth and guarantee  future growth and abundance.

At this time we will be experiencing the intense polarity between Taurus and Scorpio. The Sun in Taurus represents our ego needs at this time,  sitting opposite the  Full Moon in Scorpio, which  signifies our emotional needs. Taurus wants safety and security, while Scorpio wants passion and personal transformation.

The push and pull between these two opposite poles will be exaggerated by Jupiter, bringing up some powerful dynamics.  Our tasks is, as always,  to maintain presence in the midst of tensions.

Taurus, a fixed earth sign,  grounds us and attracts us to seek sensual satisfaction and safety, and can be stubborn to a fault.   Scorpio, a fixed water sign, stirs up deep emotions and  persistently pushes our boundaries. It takes us to the edge (and then some) via death,  sexual encounters and mergers that require some risk.  Death is the ultimate merger.

So we tend to cling to what is comfortable (Taurus)  and fear what is unknown or threatening (Scorpio). That is one of the reasons that sexual surrender is so profound and so scary. Letting go to another human being means trusting in something (or someone).

Scorpio craves deep experiences  and leads us out beyond the safe walls of the city, where creatures roam wild and life is more precarious. Yet if we never risk we never grow.
Meanwhile, Taurus helps us get in touch with our core values, and grounds us in the body, giving us the stability to then meet someone half way. Learning to let go and risk a part of our self protection is easier when we have a strong sense of self.

Jupiter in Leo boosts our self esteem, and amplifies our pride. Don't let false pride stand in your way of authentic connection. Saturn opposite Mercury can cause us to distrust each other. And  if mere lust (Taurus) is what is driving the need to connect (Scorpio), you could get burned.

Jupiter 's amplification and exaggeration of both Sun and Moon will ensure we feel these issues more intensely,  creating a push pull between our urge to merge and our fear of letting go. The transformation that results from the clash of these powerful forces brings us understanding of how to both  survive and thrive in this world.

If we can allow this passionate life force to move through us without fear, we can gain access to deeper realms of feeling usually blocked or avoided in our daily routines. Sacred sexual practices can be useful at this time, as well as contact with nature. Walk in the woods, feel the earth beneath your feet, make love on the soft green grass.

As we celebrate the fertility of mother earth, it is also the Wesek Full Moon, which celebrates the life of the Buddha.

Therein lies the key to managing the intense polarity of this Moon.

Claim your inner buddha. Find your inner peace. Then, celebrate life!

Happy Full Moon!!!
