Star of David: Redemption

Tomorrows astrology is quite remarkable. If you have been feeling overwhelmed or fed up with all the shakin' and awakenin' going on, tomorrows Grand Sextile/Star of David brings a powerful message of hope.

I have been on holiday and having difficulty getting my posts uploaded due to being in a fairly inaccessible area re internet. Yes, there are still some places on the planet where the World Wide Web cannot reach.  A blessing and a curse LOL!

I am now home and catching up on everything. Today I have just a few moments for this post but I wanted to get out the alert re this wonderful astrological signature.

I have heard many descriptions of tomorrow's Grand Sextile/Star of David configuration.  It contains two Grand Trines overlaid on each other: One in Water, one in Earth creating a six pointed star.  Grand trines are extremely positive flow of energy between the planets involved. The two together involve all the celestial bodies  in a beautiful dance of redemption. Hurray! A positive message in the midst of all this change, upheaval and emotional overhaul.

It is saying 'don't worry, there is hope.'

The following was also posted on my FB page (see side bar). Sorry for repeat. When I have more time I will write a bit more about this. The effects will ripple out for some time so don't worry, you won't miss it. Just feel it!!

"It all began with the celestial formation known as a Grand Water Trine which began on July 17, 2013. This harmonious triangle of Water-sign planets (Jupiter/Mars in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio, Neptune in Pisces) is a building block for a more rare configuration, known as a Star of David, which will form on July 29, 2013.
(see last posts for more on the Grand Water Trine)

The 6-pointed (double triangle) Star of David comes into focus when planets in the Earth signs (Moon in Taurus, Venus in Virgo, Pluto in Capricorn) form a Trine as the Last Quarter Moon enters Taurus on the 29th.

This Grand Earth Trine moves into perfect formation with the Grand Water Trine, forming a radiant Star out in space – a gathering of positive and harmonious aspects completely surrounding the planet in a Sacred Geometric configuration.

The Star of David is being called a multidimensional Stargate, which helps us to bring Spirit into Matter, to manifest Heaven on Earth, and to balance Masculine and Feminine.

In keeping with its multidimensional nature, the Star of David is also known as a Grand Sextile and a Star Tetrahedron – intricate and lovely sacred geometry celestial configurations. The energies of these ancient symbols will be pouring down on us now."  (Carol Ann Ciocco.)

Let's welcome the grounding this wonderful moment provides to the powerful emotional cleansing we have all been through lately. I take it as a sign of hope.

All is well. All manner of things will be well.

Blessings on us all.

Full Moon in Aquarius Merecury Direct Detach from the Drama

I am vacationing on an island on the west coast of Canada where my son lives. It is very remote and he does not have wifi so I have had limited internet access. Perfect as its been Mercury retrograde!!
I am now sitting on a log at the beach on the south end of the island where the single is strong from across the water (comes from small city there).

I have hooked up to my phone hot spot but my battery is low so this is gonna be brief!!
Perfect imagery for the current astrology…wind (air) Sun(fire) and Water.

Everything I have written for the last month or so about emotional intensity is now coming to a head with Mercury turning direct on Saturday (in water sign Cancer) just days before the Full Moon in Aquarius(air) on Monday. The latter occurs just a couple of hours after the Sun changes signs into fire sign Leo.  That’s a lot of change happening in the midst of powerful emotional clearing.

Cancer/Water = emotion, feeling, memories, dreams, nurturing
Air /Aquarius = detachment, equality, and intellect, the collective
Leo/ Fire = inspiration, passion, play

As Mercury slows down considerably to go direct, it deepens and amplifies the emotional issues stirred up by its backward motion in the sign of the mother. (who doesn’t have mother issues?)

Mercury's retrograde journey through Cancer may have triggered memories and issues from the past, activating unresolved fears  around our emotional stability and security. Most of us keep our root self well hidden under layers of denial or busy outward activity. When our ego defenses are threatened, we become even more defensive and self-protective than usual.  Most people do not like to feel emotionally exposed. The current flooding has washed away layers of defenses for those closely aspected by the planets involved, making some people more reactive and touchy than usual as old hurts and traumas become ripe for release.

Chiron in Pisces brings a real possibility of deep healing around  vulnerabilities and unresolved issues being stirred up from the past. Old hurts, angers, disappointment, etc can become doorways to new beginnings.
Enormous energy has being activated by Jupiter (expansion) and Mars (aggression, desire) together in Cancer (emotional patterns) opposite Pluto in Capricorn. (power and control, authority issues).

Jupiter exaggerates the heated, confrontational energy of Pluto/Mars, adding friction to an already touchy atmosphere.  This over the top energy combined with the last bit of a highly emotional Grand Trine in Water, means some of us may be feeling a tad bit overwhelmed. Self-care is especially important right now; go slow and stay in touch with your feelings. If you feel triggered by someone or something, try not reacting to them as emotional stand-offs and push-pull dynamics bring personal issues  to a peak.

The Aquarius Full Moon helps us step back and see things objectively. Being in observer mode is a helpful tool with so much reactive energy about. If you observe yourself reacting, see the other person as well… without necessarily stepping into the fray.

It’s a zen moment.

We all want and need to feel accepted and loved and behind most bad behaviour are unresolved issues and unmet needs. The heated, confrontational energy of Pluto/Mars adds friction to an already touchy atmosphere. And we all experience through the filters of emotion and conditioning laid down throughout our life. So much of the astrology lately is about letting go of the past, becoming more conscious of how our conditioned mind triggers our responses, and choosing higher ground.

The HOPONOPONO prayer is very fitting for this time of healing. You can say it to yourself or to someone you feel has wronged you:

"I am sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. I thank you."

As the lessons of Saturn in Scorpio have brought us  deep into our shadow self... showing us where we are hardest on ourselves and revealing the parts we have denied and supressed (read the Saturn in Scorpio tab a few posts back) We need to remember (or learn how)  to love and forgive both ourselves and others. Saying the Hoponopono  over and over can have profound effects.

We are all here to learn how to be human. Everything in the sky right now is there to further that unfolding process. Sun in leo wants us to shine. Water wants us to feel. Full Moon in Aquarius wants us to connect to each other. That canonly happen when we are at peace with ourseves.

Accept. Allow. Appreciate.

All will be well.Alll is well.
Namaste!

(p.s. I have written more but this is all I can download right now. Section two will be finally getting to personal chart stuff. I'ts already written... just need to get another moment... like this : )

New Moon in Cancer: Time to come Home

Today's New Moon in Cancer marks the beginning of a new emotional cycle that is part of the larger (year) cycle of  deep healing and inner transformation that we are in. A cycle within a cycle; circles within circles...

This New Moon marks a turning point, a watershed moment. Maybe we will finally realize that we really are powerful feeling beings and we do have the power to create our own reality. And perhaps now we will be able to embrace our emotional reality as much as we do our logic.

I am writing this very late at night,  after a busy weekend with out of town visitors and much social activity, and my eyes are blurry, my brain half asleep. I am sure tomorrow I will discover tons of typos and strange syntaxes. Please bear with me… I will return and edit it when I am able, but I wanted to get something on here in time for the New Moon. (I am editing now lol)

Jupiter (expansion) crossing my Venus (connectedness) in Gemini has amplified not only my brain activity to frenetic levels, my social activity has amped up hugely in the last few weeks. This has meant my somewhat hermit existence has been blasted wide open and spare time (when I work on this) has become harder to  find. Letting go of expectations (Jupiter)  and accepting limits (Saturn) is my lesson right now. With Saturn in the 1st house of self, I have always tended to push myself a bit too hard, and its part of the current Saturn retrograde to face and change old patterns. Hmmmm.

Meanwhile, as we all make the transition to soft watery Cancer., it can be a bit disorienting to go from such expansive, airy flights of fancy  to deep sea diving,  and there may be moments  when we feel dizzy, and seem to be floundering, fearing we are in over our head. Thats a natural response to so much emotion being unleashed. Take the time to stop. Breath. Focus. Ground.

Pray!

These are powerful times and the best we all can do is stay true to ourselves as these rather wild and untamable energies to do their crazy dance. May as well dance with em....

The New Moon Monday (today) joins the group hanging out in the realm of feelings / home / mother / emotional security. With so many planets linking up in the watery sign of Cancer, the dance has now morphed from mental gymnastics to synchronized swimming.

As I said last week, this sign represents our mother, and our need for mothering. It's where we need/want cuddles and confirmation that we are safe and secure and loved unconditionally. We may feel extra sensitive, touchy, moody, teary. Though Cancer crab has a tough outer shell, inside she is total mush, and her vulnerabilities cannot be denied.  Nor her power!

We all started our life floating in the watery womb and in fact we are mostly made of water. There is a powerful inner prompting now... something/someone is calling us home.

"The sea is the favorite symbol for the Unconscious, the mother of all that lives… (Our) task is to become conscious of the contents that press upward from the Unconscious."

 Carl Jung

Yet without an anchor, (or at least a boat) this excess water can overwhelm us, causing us to feel adrift in a very large sea.

Saturn’s connection to the New Moon will aid grounding, containing,  integrating this process. That doesn’t mean we should try to stop the flow. Indeed we couldn’t if we tried.

Saturn can slow things down though. It just paused over the weekend to turn around to resume direct motion, and some may have felt  a temporary damming effect ( hmmm damning  effect?) If you  felt stymied or blocked or like you have been holding your breath… this will start to shift forward now.

While you are waiting for that to happen,  allow the pause, the in-breath, but don’t try to suppress anything. When you damn a waterfall or a fast moving river… you better know what you are doing and have valves and stuff to let it out properly, or it will overflow...  and then it can’t be stopped.

There has recently been incredible flooding in my city (which is quite unusual) and one of the issues was this exact one … the water had to go somewhere and it took the path of least resistance… flowing into places no one expected it to go (like into the city core, or businesses as well as peoples homes).

If you are emotionally flooding, or overflowing, Saturn can help stabilize you.  Let it help you create a channel for the river to flow through (clear boundaries, safe surroundings, firm footing), or build a bridge across the depths.  Main thing: let the river flow.   Move with it.   Dance! Sing! Drum Play!  Move!

Dream.

Mercury’s  current backward tap dance through the watery realms has encouraged us to  hone our introspection skills as it take us deep into memories, dreams, and imaginings. There are treasured held within the watery depths, parts of us we have left behind.

Saturn retrograde in Scorpio has been getting us to look at what lies buried there, and it has often been be hard work (though not without reward). All that soul searching you have undergone recently will bear fruit in the future. We are rebuilding our emotional and psychic foundations, this time with strength and fortitude rather than fear and denial.

Once we know where our blocks and fears lie, we can use that emotional intelligence to get us through other difficult times.  We don’t have to make the same mistakes over and over or rehash the same relationship issues (like old family patterns and traumas).

For you Astrology buffs: The aspect (shown in the image above) called a ‘kite’  is a powerful configuration with Pluto (the transformer)  at the bottom tip, sitting in opposition to everything in Cancer  at the top. See the many blue lines making up not one, but 'five' triangles? This is the Grand Trine energy and this is powerful transformational stuff.

The  meeting of Sun/Moon in so much water, added to this this powerful signature with Pluto (the transformer) is pure alchemy! It is also profoundly non linear.

My advice: Try and let go of your left brain control for now and see if you can feel your way through. If there ever was a time to get in touch with the power of your inner self, this is it.

The tide is turning, and the rain will wash everything clean.

The New Moon in Cancer is also the time to set our intention. Invite in emotional clearing, healing and nurturing. Let go of the past and move gently into a brighter future. It's time to come home.

The good news: Our true home is within us, so wherever we go … there we are!

Welcome home …  to your own self!

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

Signs of the Times

We are currently being inundated with the element of water, water, everywhere, as a Grand Trine in Water signs creates a powerful flow of energy between:

Sun/Jupiter in Cancer
Neptune in Pisces
Saturn in Scorpio.

We also have Mars about to enter Cancer and the Moon's North Node is in Scorpio.

That’s a lot of water folks!

(my city has just survived severe flooding, so this topic feels very close to home in a very visceral way!!)

To add a touch of fire, today’s Moon in Aries  triggers off the Pluto/Uranus square (do we ever get a break from this!!?) and the abundance of emotional energy is  big, self centered, reactive, rebellious.  Also transforming, freeing. Fire plus water =

At this three-quarter Moon, we move into the completion stage of the cycle started at the New Moon/eclipse in Gemini three weeks ago. That was all about changing our reality by shifting the  dominant  paradigm (way of thinking, core belief system) The eclipse aided us in  stepping out of our old inherited thought patterns, letting the past go, and opening up to the bigger picture (Sagittarius opposite)

Powerful forces  of change and transformation are now focused on our feeling nature, and  Sun and Jupiter bring expansion and enthusiasm to our emotional processes.

Venus, recently shifted into in Leo, wants us to celebrate  who we are.

If you are feeling more emotional than usual, craving some attention, or needing to be mothered… that may be because the sign of Cancer is where these elements thrive.

We also see, Mercury, planet of communication and thought processes, moving backward (retrograde) through Cancer, urging us to reflect on our emotions, and sink into our more internal processes. Old memories may be surfacing… home and hearth pulls stronger as threads from our childhood trigger the need to connect to our roots.

This Mercury Retrograde urges us to rethink, redo, reflect, reminisce, review… all with the purpose of clearing out emotional baggage we no longer need or want.

The backward passage of Mercury over next three weeks gives us an opportunity to recharge emotionally. Spending time near water meets an instinctive need right now as it's cooling depths sooth our souls. Take your socks off; put your feet in.

I’ll add the usual warning that Mercury retrogrades also can create havoc with our systems of communication, as emails computers, phones etc do a little crazy dance… all in aid of getting us to let go a little. These hassles are always annoying but usually not too serious (hopefully).

As I have often said, the impact of transiting planets (in current sky) depends on their significance or strength in your own birth chart, as well as what personal planets they are crossing over etc. People with key planets in the early degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn or Aries for instance, may be more strongly impacted by the current astrology.

There are so many factors now urging us all to process a bit more deeply than usual, helping us shift and redirect stuck emotions where they are caught up in blockages, fears or negativity. For many of us with suppressed or buried emotions (anyone not in that category?) there is bound to be some intensity or resistance to these inward-pulling energies.  I can hazard a guess that some of you would rather drink arsenic than peek under your emotional floorboards.

The Grand Trine will help the cleansing happen gently, with ease and grace. Introspection can be incredibly rich and rewarding right now… allowing time to rejoice in those AHA! moments as we clear away the emotional clutter to discover our true essence.

“This above all:
To thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man (or woman).”
