In or Outside the Box?

Ok , after my big speech about not getting caught up in the day to day details, here I am doing exactly that!

I blame it on the Virgo Moon!!
Anyway, here's a look at todays lineup:

Pluto and Mercury hanging out together in Capricorn makes for some intense and rather serious discussions. Over the next couple of days Moon is squaring that combination, as well as being opposite the Uranus Jupiter conjunction….

What does this mean?   Well, the Moon is moving into the spot on the major T-Square/Grand Cross that Saturn has occupied for the last year. Squares are points of tension and produce pressure on whichever planets and/or signs they are running between.

A T-square is created by 3 squares…(imagine a line running between two opposite planets…and then a leg going out at a right angle to the third. That’s the T).   The pressure is on the leg…  which in this case is the combination of Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn.

Pluto rules sex, death, and regeneration and is all about power and control. It can be obsessive and extremely possessive. It wants to transform whatever it touches. Mercury is about how we think and communicate and how we gather information.

Capricorn is about ambition, authourity and responsibility. It describes our sense of purpose and duty and where we make serious effort to make material gains.

Uranus and Jupiter together create a bursting forth of expanded energy. Ideology, travel and weight gain are all under Jupiter, and Uranus brings us flashes of insight and brilliance. And… impatience.

With this square to Mercury(Ideas) we may find ourselves impatient with others point of view, and overly controlling of what they say. Our sense of justice (Jupiter) or our personal ideology may feel affronted by their sudden(Uranus) outbursts (Jupiter) and or their impatience (Uranus) with our serious approach. Emotions will be involved (The Moon), sex may be involved (Pluto)  and there could be sudden outbursts (Uranus, Jupiter).

In Virgo this can express itself as criticism or picking at petty details. Virgos are also highly perfectionist and also highly defensive (as they are their own worst critics) so if you are relating to the Moon energy, try to let many thing pass.

Oh and add a Saturn square to Mercury which may create a battle of wills…or some kind of restriction or difficulty.

See where this is heading? Whichever of these aspects you get caught up in, depending on where they fall in your own personal chart, I suggest this is a good day to  be extra vigilant about what you say and how you say it. You may feel blocked or criticized or forced into something you don’t want to do, or you may be doing the forcing.

On the positive side, Pluto’s intense drive in Capricorn and Virgo’s attention to details, combined with the expansive ideas coming from Jupiter and Uranus, may make this a perfect day (or days) to do some really excellent work on a project that requires intense focus.

Additionally, the Mars/Sun combination connecting to these same points in a positive and supporting way adds to the vigour and focus this day can bring, and with the Sun now in Aquarius, unique and/or radical ideas can come to fruition. Aquarius is about thinking outside the box.

Just don’t make another person your project…or…if you do…don’t expect them to just go along with everything you think is best for them. They just might not like the box you are trying to put them in.

36.DARKENING OF THE LIGHT.
In adversity
It furthers one to be persevering.

In a time of difficulty it is essential to be cautious and reserved.
One should not needlessly awaken overwhelming enmity by inconsiderate behavior.
In such times one ought not to fall in with the practices of others;
neither should one drag them censoriously into the light.
In social intercourse one should not try to be all-knowing.
Let many things pass,
without being duped.
